–Hanalei refuse transfer station to be closed for maintenance Dec. 9–
HANALEI – The Hanalei refuse transfer station will be closed all day on Friday, Dec. 9.
The closure is necessary to perform planned maintenance on the site. The Roads Maintenance Division will also repair a speed hump at the facility’s entrance.
The Hanalei refuse transfer station’s daily operating hours are from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for green waste. The transfer station is closed on state holidays.
We request that customers use the Kapa‘a refuse transfer station during this maintenance period.
