–Lane closures for Kawaihau Road scheduled from July 5 to July 8–
KAPA‘A – The Department of Public Works and Grace Pacific LLC., are announcing that portions of Kawaihau Road will be closed from July 5 to July 8 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Additionally, the intersection of Mailihuna Road, Hau‘a‘ala Road, and Kawaihau Road will experience temporary traffic shifts.
These closures are necessary for clear and grubbing work, roadway excavation, and sidewalk construction.
Motorists are encouraged to allow for extra travel time when driving near the work area and follow all construction traffic controls. Please exercise caution and drive slowly when commuting through the work area.
Dates and times are subject to change depending on weather and
other factors.
