Kaua‘i voters will have the opportunity to decide on four proposed charter amendments in the coming general election. Here’s a video from the Charter Review Commission which offers a brief summary of each proposed amendment.

Additionally, to assist voters with making informed decisions, the Charter Review Commission has provided background information and the purpose of each proposal. To review all proposed changes to the Charter, please go to https://kauaiballotinfo.com/.

The public may also pick up a free copy of the proposed charter amendments at the Office of Boards and Commissions located at the Līhu‘e Civic Center, Pi‘ikoi Buidling, 4444 Rice Street Suite 300, in Līhu‘e, during normal business hours Monday to Friday, between 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., except on holidays.
