7:20 AM UPDATE: The Solid Waste Division announces the following notices for today, Dec. 20:
– The Kapa‘a refuse transfer station will reopen for bagged trash only until further notice. Green waste in Kapa‘a has also reopened.
– Green waste Līhu‘e is currently closed, with an update to be made when services resume.
– All services at the Hanapēpē refuse transfer station have reopened.
– The Kekaha landfill is tentatively set to reopen to the public at 12:30 p.m. today.

Dec. 20, Solid Waste notice: The Kekaha Landfill and Kapaa refuse transfer station will be closed this morning, Dec. 20. The closure is necessary for crews to perform maintenance work. Both facilities are expected to re-open in the afternoon. Updates will be given when the facilities re-open.
Weather permitting, all other services and refuse stations are scheduled to be open today.
