Department of Water issued the following announcement on Dec. 2.
The Department of Water (DOW) announces a water service shutdown on Powerhouse Road in Wainiha; until further notice, due to a recent break in the system that has affected the storage tank facilities. DOW crews have been dispatched and are on route to conduct emergency repairs.
