Of the 2,739 people living in Koloa in 2019, 54.2 percent (1,484) were women and 45.8 percent (1,255) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Kauai Sun.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 800-to-638. In the 65 and over age range, there were 260 females and 182 males.
