--Water conservation notice issued for Wainiha-Hā'ena until further notice--
9 P.M. (Final update) HAENA - The Department of Water (DOW) has lifted the water conservation notice for Wainiha-Hā'ena customers as of approximately 9 p.m. this evening.
Power has been restored to the pump stations and water tank levels have stabilized for normal operations. Customers may resume normal water use.
DOW thanks Wainiha-Hā'ena customers for their cooperation and conservation efforts.

6:30 P.M. HAENA- The Department of Water (DOW) has issued an immediate water conservation notice for Wainiha-Hā'ena customers due an electrical power outage affecting the pump station facilities. Customers are advised to limit water use to essential needs only; such as cooking, drinking and sanitation needs, until further notice in order to avoid a full water service outage.
Additional water conservation measures include refraining from car washing and turning off fixtures and appliances that automatically draw water such as ice machines and irrigation systems.
An update will be provided when the water conservation notice has been lifted.
