--County announces holiday closures--
LĪHU‘E – In observance of the Labor Day holiday, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 5.
Closures also include the following facilities on Sept. 5:
• COVID-19 mobile testing at the Hanalei Neighborhood Center parking lot;
• COVID-19 testing at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall;
• all neighborhood centers;
• the Puhi Metals Recycling Center;
• the Reynolds Recycling HI5 Redemption Center locations;
• the Kekaha Landfill; and
• all refuse transfer stations.
Because the Waimea swimming pool is closed on Mondays, the staff will observe the holiday on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged.
The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its regular schedule on the holiday.
Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
