County of Kaua'i - County Announces Holiday Closures

--County announces holiday closures--

LĪHU‘E – In observance of the Election Day and Veterans Day holidays, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 8, and Friday, Nov. 11.

Closures also include the following facilities on Nov. 8 and Nov. 11:

• COVID-19 testing at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall; 

• all neighborhood centers;

• the Puhi Metals Recycling Center;

• the Reynolds Recycling HI5 Redemption Center, fronting the Līhu‘e refuse transfer station;

• the Kekaha Landfill;

• all refuse transfer stations; and

• the Waimea swimming pool. 

In observance of Election Day, COVID testing at the Bryan J. Baptiste Sports Complex will be closed on Nov. 8. Additionally, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday, COVID testing at the Kalāheo Neighborhood Center parking lot will be closed on Nov. 11.

The HI5 Redemption Center operated by KCRS in Kapa‘a will be open on Tuesday, Nov. 8. However, the HI5 Redemption Centers operated by KCRS in Kapa‘a and Kīlauea will be closed on Friday, Nov. 11.

The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged. 

The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its regular schedule on the holidays. 

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Wednesday, Nov. 9, and Monday, Nov. 14.
