REMINDER: --County announces holiday closures--

LĪHU‘E – In observance of the Christmas Day holiday, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed today, Monday, Dec. 26.

All refuse transfer stations, and the Kekaha Landfill observed the holidays on Sunday, Dec. 25. They are open today, Dec. 26. 

Closures also include the following today, Dec. 26:

• COVID-19 testing at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall; 

• COVID-19 testing at the Hanalei Neighborhood Center;  

• all neighborhood centers;

• the Puhi Metals Recycling Center; and

• The Kōloa HI5 Redemption Center. 

All refuse transfer stations, and the Kekaha Landfill observed the holiday on Sunday, Dec. 25. They are open today, Dec. 26. 

Because the Waimea swimming pool is closed on Mondays, the staff will observe the holiday on Dec. 27/ 

All HI5 redemption centers except Kōloa will be observing their normal business days and hours. See the website at www.kauai.gov/HI5 for more information. 

The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged. 

The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its regular schedule on the holidays. 

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume on Tuesday, Dec. 27.
