Water conservation notice issued for Wainiha to Ha'ena until further notice

9:25 P.M. (Final Update) WAINIHA - The Department of Water (DOW) has lifted the water conservation notice for customers from Wainiha to Ha'ena. Customers may now resume normal water use.

8:15 P.M. WAINIHA - The Department of Water (DOW) has issued a water conservation request for the north shore of Kaua'i, from Wainiha to Ha'ena, until further notice due to electrical power outages. Customer are advised to limit water use to essential needs only, such as cooking, drinking or sanitation use, to prevent a full water service outage.

Additional water conservation measures include turning off appliances and fixtures that automatically draw water such as ice machines and irrigation systems.

An update will be provided when the conservation notice has been lifted.
